31 Days of Prayer: Twenty-nine (Prayerfulness)

I know prayerful people. I bet you know them, too. The friends you call upon when you deeply need someone to intercede for you. They are the ones who say, "I will be praying for you" ... and you know they mean it.

I want my life to be marked by this.

Prayer. Fellowship with the Father. Prayer is how I get to know Him better. Prayer is the avenue which I become more like Him. Entering into His presence in prayer. Spending time with Him in prayer.

I talk. He talks.

I want this for my children, too. I want them to view prayer as a privilege, not as oppressive.

Prayerfulness:

Children
"Grant, Lord, that my children's lives may be marked by prayerfulness. That they may learn to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Ephesians 6:18

Myself and others
"Lord, grant that MY life and ____________'s life be marked by prayerfulness. That we may learn to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."
