"Ethan, What are you drawing?"
"A picture. Of Mommy's heart."
I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws. Psalm 119:30
I keep this in my Bible.
As a reminder that my heart belongs to Jesus. My heart is secure in His Word.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4
And as a reminder to enter His gates with a thankful heart. To enter His courts with praise.
So today...
...I am thankful for Spring-like weather (can I get an amen?).
...I am thankful for little feet that hit the floor in the morning, jumping out of bed to greet me with big hugs.
...I am thankful for yellow buttercups. And tulips...peeking out as to say "Is it time, yet?".
...I am thankful for you.
...And I am thankful for Jesus. Overwhelmingly so.
...I am thankful thankful thankful.
What are you thankful for this Friday? Leave a comment below...

I am thankful for my husband who sacrifices for his family; after a bout of stomach illness that hit 4 people in our house, I am also very thankful for our washing machine; season changes; friends who have helped me grow in my faith; Moms In Touch prayer group; our church here who loves on us like family; grandparents who love our kids and invest in them; the Holy Spirit who speaks in ways I didn't know just a couple years ago .... I could go on but I'll stop there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky! Love, Stephanie Pohler
I am thankful for my wonderful husband who loves the Lord, my beautiful kids, our home, that I can be at home with Sarah most of the time, for good health, for our jobs, for our church family, for the friends God has brought into my life. ;) So thankful for Jesus.
ReplyDeleteIt is sooo good to be thankful, so good to meditate on it!

ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for clean water to shower in everyday, food in my fridge, my fridge, my healthy kids, my sweet God-fearing husband, the Holy Spirit, God's faithfulness, modern day technology that lets us talk and see people from halfway around the world. Mostly, JESUS! He's my favorite! :)
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for beautiful weather, great family & friends, coffee, chocolate, music, a sweet & crazy dog, my church, working vehicles, a home of my own, bike rides with my kids, lunch dates with my mister, YOU, & of course JESUS! :)
ReplyDeleteThankful that despite my hubby's travel schedule, he isn't called to go overseas; thankful that our dossier is FINALLY nearing completion and for the knowledge that God's timing is perfect; thankful for my family; thankful for many years in the workforce (even tho I wanted a baby so badly) so that we could save for adoption and appreciate even more so being being able to stay home; for our birthmothers; for music; for my bed, my pillow and morning coffee; for the way my dogs forgive me when I don't spend time with them and for the way God forgives me for the same even more quickly than the dogs forgive.
